My friend came from brazil to America about 2 months ago. And in that time, her engish improved imensely.
I just remembered today how she definitely could speak well when she came, but she wasn't anywhere near fluent in the sense that her speech 'flowed'. Now, she can pretty much say anything that she needs to. Her accent is also getting a lot better, too. Although I do hope that she never loses her brazilian accent :D. Anyway, just an interesting testimonial about the effects of immersion. 1 person has voted this message useful |
