hi,
I want to find out how long it will take to learn Spanish after learning french in advanced level. I am studying french for the last 2 years and I am working on it these days even more. One of my teacher told me that it would take 2 months to learn Spanish after french but he is kind of bragger and it didnt seem me so realistic. What you guys think? Thank you very much indeed for your help.

It depends on your situation and the materials you use, I suppose.
I could imagine learning a language to a reasonable level that quickly, but only if I had a lot of access to native speakers.

I learned Spanish after gaining a very solid base in French.
2 months really isn't enough, unless you study 5-10+ hours a day or something... learning Spanish after French is definitely much easier and at a great discount, but not to that extent.

I second this, I have only been studying it for a month though, I am no where near 'half way' after just that.
