Hello! I was wondering if anyone could possibly tell me what are the best flash cards for me to buy to study Spanish? I know that I probably should not make my own since, as this site puts it, there are about 1,000 words that make up 85% of daily conversation... and being that I don't know what those words are just yet, it's best that I get some cards that are made with this in mind, right?
Thanks for your help!

There are certainly frequency lists available. Check out Spanish Wiktionary Frequency List for one. The other reason its preferable to make your own cards is because creating the cards is part of the learning process. You'll be able to make your own example sentences with the content _you_ want to learn on them. The act of making the cards makes recall easier.

Okay, the frequency of occuring words was my only concern. I wasn't sure if there was a resource that had that information available but since you have pointed one out to me then I can make my own. The only reason I thought of buying them is because I was unsure that I'd be able to make my own with that efficiency in learning in mind. Thanks a lot!

I like the Vis-Ed series, published in the USA (they have a choice of two boxes for Spanish, I think).
As an Xmas present I bought a Spanish-German set for an Austrian friend, published by dnf-Verlag.

If you want to use SRS software, you can download this list:
http://www.wordsgalore.com/
Then you can use their software as well.

Thanks for the link, slucido. Also, thank you for the information William.
I think I'll make my own, as dmg has suggested. But I will also use the word list from the SRS software.

You can also get blank cards in boxes from Vis-Ed, or you could the last time I checked.
