As this is my first Language Learning Journal entry, I´m just going to summarise everything quickly.
I study Russian and Polish at university, and am inclined to believe that I spend enough time learning both. I am doing an open university course of Spanish, which I´m finding really helpful, as we have to write a lot of essays on current issues and repeat all the grammar there is. At the moment I´m also only reading fiction in Spanish and there is a DVD-box filled with Spanish films waiting for me at home. I have until June to improve my Spanish to such a level that I feel confident enough to express myself freely.
The other languages are on a break right now, simply because my books are in Finland and I have no time to start messing my head up any further, but I have not forgotten about them.
Hungarian: my passion, and one day I will speak it! I have everything I need, so whenever I finish uni and there won´t be as much stress, I will be back in business.
German: this is a language I command fairly well as it is so similar to Swedish. I can read it, and I know the grammar from before. I´m hoping to improve because I believe it would look really good on my CV.
French: French and I never got along too well. I´m using it to read the original works of French writers, and that´s it.
Czech:another language that I will continue with whenever there is more time. It will be a lot easier than Hungarian because it´s so similar to Polish and Russian.
Three more languages I want to learn someday: Latin, Georgian and Serbian

Hi Sasucaa!

Hungarian is my 'learn-when-I-finish-uni' language too, and as I've recently finished uni - it's time to start learning it. It would be great to share notes and thoughts on the language as we learn.

Impressive list of languages for someone who's still at uni! Welcome to the forum
