Actually I think Francois pronounced everything very clearly and it was very easy for me to understand him.
He sounded like a Quebecer (or another French speaking native) speaking English. It's just a matter of fixing the intonation a little. I think a bit of exposure to Asian languages will definitely help in that regard.

I was very impressed with Francois's interview. You spoke very clearly and your grammar and sentence structure was higher then the average American with a 4 year college degree (that's uni for the Aussies).
As for the accent, it did seem like a mix of US, UK, and French/Swiss, but that can only get better. I also thought you held some of the vowels too long, like when you said money. I think you just need to decide if you want to speak with an American or UK accent and stick to that one accent.
Overall very impressive. I'd love to be able to converse in mandarin at Francois' English level.
