Belly as 'womb' is really related to life... no wonder the word has evolved in this way.

"Żywot" is here somewhere in the middle between womb and belly, as in Latin, where we can read "beatus fructus ventris tui", where venter is for both womb and belly, as my dictionary says.

BTW, the Church Slavonic versions has: благословенъ плодъ чрева твоегω, but I don't know how the чрев could be translated.
