I've recently been trying to avoid speaking German while maintaining a decent amount of input to help transform my monstrous accent and had a nice idea; input only skype exchanges through bilingual conversations =)

For example with me I would have a conversation with either a native of French or a native of German where we both just speak our native languages. If anyone's up for it then pm me, I'm high intermediate in German and would miss about one word every few sentences I guess, I'd need someone pretty patient for French though as my listening comprehension for that is a bit weaker... I am very happy to speak to low intermediates in English and don't mind explaining everything I say in simple English

I do this all the time, albeit unintentionally, with some of my Brazilian MSN/Skype friends.

I understand much more than I can speak, and that results in me speaking more English when attempting Portuguese conversation. We generally have no problems understanding each other in our respective languages.
