Today I whizzed through Hugo "French in 3 Months" and I did the unit exams. I found that I averaged 88% across all of the units. This was very encouraging, although I definitely need to do some work on "this/that/these/those" (celui-ci etc) and also the future tense of verbs was a bit tricky for some reason.

I was studying the first few lessons of Hugo Advanced French, and found a little expression to help me remember three ways of saying "because"
1) puisque 2) parce que 3) car I remember this by saying "pweeze park the car". Well, it works for me :) I have also begun using French "mind maps". I found the suggestion in a very old French book from school I found the other day, and after one day of making them, I am very impressed. Would you mind telling us a little bit more about French mind maps please? I am familiar with mind maps in other contexts, but would like to hear how you use them for learning French. Thanks!

Well you are certainly able to learn some parts of a language in 2 weeks, but don't expect the impossible :)
