Take Quechua. You're interested and I am sure you could find space for yourself somehow in a triculture sense... preferably if you take a Spanish class or two on the side. When you start learning a language you get more and more wrapped up in the people and culture so you will know how to get yourself into that niche at some point.
I know it sounds unlikely but I think it'd work out.
If I didn't do that I'd go for either Serbo-croatian or Hindi I suppose!

Right on all counts Chung. Serenity, if you are interested in a grad prgram in international business you should be taking a good concentration in Business/Economics/finance along with that history. Don't waste time and money on Quechua right now as it along with most of those other languages you mentioned such as Hindi, Swedish, Hebrew, etc will at best have ony limited practical value. Those are the kind of languages you learn because you love learning languages and are interested in their respective cultures or are planning vacations there. So take French or German in school. They will look good on the resume' even though you probably won't learn much. There are a lot of things you can learn and learn well in college...but foreign language is not one of them.

Cage are you as ignorant as your post would suggest? The most logical way of becoming proficient in anything is university classes being conducted by experts in their field. |

I hope you're being sarcastic?
