Day 6
An hour and a half today. Watched episode 6 and the uninterrupted version of episodes 4 - 6 of Fokus Deutsch. Spent about half an hour on flaschards and did DW as usual. Skipped FSI today. 1 FSI unit a week is looking to be about the limit if I can consistently manage 2 hours a day. 1 person has voted this message useful | |

Days 7 & 8
Too crook to be able to properly focus while studying, so skipped it. Day 9 Watched FD Episode 7 and DW"s "Slowly Read News". Started and finished over half of the FSI "Substitution Drill". Got about an hour and a half in today. 1 person has voted this message useful | |

Day 9: It was, of course, the Variation Drill I started yesterday, not the Substitution Drill.

Day 14
Got a whopping 3 hours in today. Watched Fokus Deutsch Episode 9 and listened to DW's News Read Slowly (won't mention this from now on since I do it every day). Finished off the FSI Variation Drill (which the mp3 seems to be missing parts of) and did the Translation Drill. Did 40 minutes of flashcards of various words from Unit 1 and a separate set for learning which of der/die/das goes with the main words from Unit 1. 1 person has voted this message useful | |

Day 15
2 hours today. Finally finished FSI Unit 1. I skipped the 'Situations' section lest I act it out myself and end up ingraining something incorrect. 'Conversation Practice' I tried to act out on my own but I'm unsure how useful that will end up being. May skip that in future units. Went through a few of the other drills again to ensure I had a good handle on them. Onwards to Unit 2 tomorrow! 1 person has voted this message useful |
