Today I completed lesson 8 in Pimsleur I. I went to get something to eat with my kids, and I asked my 8 year old son if he would like to eat something...in french..and he answered "oui". (he's doing it do) I am on lesson 3 in French In action...But I am VERY frustrated with the audio available online. The one I came across (suggested here) doesn't have every lesson in the work-book. I have joined up with the French Alliance here in hopes that they have this in their library and I can check it out for free. I am ALSO going to take a class there..but I don't know if I should waste the cash on an absolute beginner class..or a Intermediate beginner class. I think I am past the basic greetings at this point. I hope I know enough by next year for my trip to Montreal. I wish I could pick this up faster somehow.

Hi lhester
Regarding the audio for French in Action, I`m fairly sure all the audio is available at the link below.
http://et.middlebury.edu/et/languages/ipods/french/audio/
I`m just waiting for the books to arrive and then I`ll have everything I need to start.
Best of luck
Thomas
Edit: Also, forgot to mention you can stream the audio here
and here
