Hello, my name is Philip and I was looking for advice on what language classes to take next year, especially concerning Spanish and German. This year I am a Freshman in high school and am taking Spanish level 3 and French level 3 (each goes from levels 1 to 5). Next year, I have some more room in my schedule and can take up to three foreign languages (which I am using as my electives). I know for sure that I will be taking French 4 and Japanese 1 (my school offers Spanish, French, Latin, German, and Japanese).
For my last language slot, I am trying to decide whether I should continue with my Spanish studies (which I am frankly quite bored of and am not very motivated) or begin with German. I am very proficient in Spanish (although it says that I have advanced fluency in the language, I would place myself somewhere between basic fluency and advanced fluency, leaning towards the advanced side) as I have been studying it for 8 years almost continuously (4 years at a bilingual school, 1 year of extracurricular private lessons, a 2 year break, 1 year review, 1 year complete immersion language arts class, 1 year level three class in high school).
If I were to take German, I would skip level 1 (as I did with French this year) and teach myself the material this year and then next year, continue with Spanish on my own (if I have time) next year, working on the aspects that I believe I need work on. If I were to take Spanish 4, I would try to learn German well enough so that I could get into level three the year afterward.
One more note: I don't often mix up my foreign languages so this is really not an issue for me.
If this post is at all comprehensible, I would like to ask your advice on which language I should take. Thank you very much for your help.

I would say either Spanish or German one. Honestly because Frau Shirai is gonna be your teacher, you don't want to miss German one. It's okay if it's easy for you, but I would recommend not skipping it.

Thanks... I guess if I decide German, I will sign up for German 1 and if Frau Shirai wants to move me up, I won't stop her...
