Although summer is the busiest time of the year for me at work, I've managed to continue studying. I don't want to take time off and backslide.
French- 1. By this weekend, I will have finished cassette 12 of Barron's Mastering French and will start SmartFrench, which arrived last week in the mail. 2. I'm halfway through the workbook portion of lesson 31 of FIA, and watching episode 32. 3. I have a stack of about 100 flashcards, though I could probably purge about 20-25 of them at this point. Spanish- I started Pimsleur Latin American Spanish the first week of July, and am currently on lesson 17. August goals- French- 1. Get deep into SmartFrench. I'm not sure how long I will work with it, but afterwards, I would like to start the next FSI level. 2. Complete lesson 33 of FIA. 3. Purge 25 cards, add 25-50 more. 4. Mrs. Cartouche and I are going to Montreal for 4 days, and then to visit relatives in the Beauce region for 3 more. I'm looking forward to it, to gauge my progress since our Paris trip in January. Spanish- I hope to be at Pimsleur lesson 40-45 by August 25, which is when I leave for Montreal, and will restart after the trip. 1 person has voted this message useful |
