Just a quick question for anyone who has sat the DELE exams in the past.
I did the nivel inicial in May and we were told that we could have the results within three months. It has now been four months to the day and I have heard nothing. I have written an email to the cervantes institute in London where I sat the exam but they haven't responded. Did it take this long when you sat the exam? Four months is WAY too long to wait! Well they did get back to me and gave me a link to see the results on the internet...
OH MY GOD!!!! Reading = 19/20 Writing = 14.06/15 Grammar = 18.67/20 Listening = 14.32/15 Speaking = 25.5/30 That means a total of 91.55% WOW!!!!!!!!! 1 person has voted this message useful | |

Congratulations. That's an incredible result. I'm very tempted to tackle the DELE Inicial exam as well. How did you find the listening test, and those fiendish little "anuncios" tests ?

I recommend you give it a go. I was unsure about whether or not I would be ready but I was really suprised when I got to the exam. It seemed much easier than the previous years that I had practiced on!
They played the listening questions twice. They were spoken as you would hear things in real life, ie. fast and muffled, but only enough to make it a bit of a challenge! The first time through I was able to pick out key words and the second time round the full meaning became clear. I think if I had just heard it at random it would have been quite difficult, but you have pictures or another phrase that give clues to what you are going to hear so it's much easier for your brain to piece it all together. Just a quick question for anyone who has taken a DELE exam...
I just filled out a questionnaire they emailed me and one of the questions was about whether or not I was satisfied with the time it took to receive my diploma after obtaining my results. I've already received a page saying I passed and how many points I got for each section...will I also receive a certificate?! I'll be happy about that because I thought it looked pretty unimpressive and I've worked hard! haha Well, I guess it's not too important...just nice to know if something else will be rocking up in the mail! 1 person has voted this message useful | |

congratulations....you did it well!!!
I'm thinking of sitting DELE next year, just doing the advanced level, even I'm aware how hard it is..... I wonder if there were several guys who took the examination with you at Londoner Cervantes branch and all of them were Brits....I recall I saw an advertisement of an acting course in Spanish at that school....lucky you all are, Brits! 1 person has voted this message useful |
