I don't know about other certificates, but it's true that DELE results can take a while to come in. I took mine in May and got the certificate only in October, so it took about 5 months.
I also agree that they are quite generous in their evaluation, but that probably doesn't apply to nivel superior :( :D

Congrats!
I'm going to sit DELE intermedio next year. Now I don't have much time for Spanish, unfortunately.

Just a quick question for anyone who has taken a DELE exam...
I just filled out a questionnaire they emailed me and one of the questions was about whether or not I was satisfied with the time it took to receive my diploma after obtaining my results.
I've already received a page saying I passed and how many points I got for each section...will I also receive a certificate?! I'll be happy about that because I thought it looked pretty unimpressive and I've worked hard! haha

Well...an entire year later I recieved a letter in the post saying that my certificate is now available to pick up. WHAT?! An entire year!!! How rediculous! Still...it's nice that I now have a slightly nicer (though not massively...) looking certificate for my efforts.

Many congratulations on passing your DELE exam. (I know it's been a while now)
I am thinking of taking the DELE incial next may. I do not expect to receive any great benefit from this exam apart from personal satisfaction but i was wondering if you had received any additional benefit from yours? E.g jobwise etc.
Also it's a long way off but i wanted to do some private tutoring/teaching in the future and was wondering if a DELE dipolma or A-Level will look better on the CV/Profile?
