I have recently taken the DELF B1 exam this april, and i just received the results :
listening 21/25
reading 25/25
speaking 24.5/25
writing 24.5/25
total 96/100
I think ive passed the exam quite well, but as im planning to go onto exchange in french universities, which require at least a B2 or even a C1.SO i would like to ask about the DELF B2, is it very difficult? i heard that there's a huge gap between B1 and B2, and are there any gd titles to buy? SHould i take the B2 exam this june?

With 96% you should have been taking the next exam up ! The recent changes to the rules mean that you don't have to progress through each stage - you just take the exam you fancy.
I've done B1, B2, C1 (the original DALF) and the C2. I don't think B1 to B2 is that much of a jump, but C1 will perhaps test you. Remember, the pass mark starts at 50%. If you get 60% it's a good pass, 70% is very good indeed. Don't waste your money, choose the right exam for your level

This is probably coming a bit late, but I would say one thing: DO THE DALF C1 AT THE NEXT OPPORTUNITY!!
Most institutions require C1, and so far as I am aware, all of them accept it. B2 will not take you very far, and as sonsen says, if you get 50% for the DALF C1 you've got the diploma, and you can use it to get into university.
I have only done the DALF C2, and only got 87%, but there is no way I would have wasted time doing a lower-level exam just to get a higher result.
