Has anyone here taken the SWEDEX A2 or B1? I want to take it next year, but I'm not so sure if my Swedish is good enough for it. I can understand it well, but I write slow and my spoken Swedish is slightly abysmal... What are your experiences with the SWEDEX?!
I would also be grateful if someone could recommend a good study guide or something for advanced Swedish.

I am not familiar with Swedex but it sounds like you have a input/output imbalance
If you understand well but do not write well or have bad speech it may be because of the silly "input only" teaching that has emerged in language teaching. I am studying swedish (9 weeks now) and I am doing great..why? Because I believe in massive input AND output. You have not trained your brain to speak Swedish enough and you should always read with a writing task included. First read a page in a book and than create (write) your own original paragraph using words you have just learned. It sounds like you may have fallen into the input trap that has flooded language teaching
