Hi everyone,
I hope you all had a great Christmas :)
I'm writing because I feel that I am kind of stuck with my progress in polish at the moment, which I blame on too little input. So I am looking for polish series (not necessarily seriale-soap operas...) which you like and would recommend. I specifically look for series because unlike films they provide for like 20+ hours of input/season.
But of course I wouldn't say no if you have any other input to recommend :-)
Thanks in advance!

Merry Chritmas!
I reccomend downloading program called ipla, it allows you to wiev archival episodes of Polish Seriales.
It's legal, they allowed it, they even have some movies.
You can watch Swiat według Kiepskich, but some say it's a little sill.

I think it might just be me, but I have a strange fascination with the Moomins. It's
probably just childhood memories and such, but it is possible to find some of it on
Youtube in Polish (called Muminki).

I can recommend you polish TV serie "Czas Honoru" (The Time of Honour). It's the story of polish Underground Intelligence Agency during Nazi occupation of Poland during WW2. It's about their struggle against Germans as well as an action film, so you won't be bored even if you don't understand it 100%. The serie constist actually of 3 Parts, all of which have 13x45min episodes.

Thank you all for your ideas, further input is still welcome :)
clumsy: thanks, I checked ipla. Unfortunately they will allow access only from within polish territory, and most of the polish proxy apparently are too slow... mpf! ;)
I did some research on my own as well and found those two series, which I am eager to get my hands on:
- 39 i Pól
- Odwróceni
... jak brakuje mi Empiku w Niemczech!... :)

Hi! You can try "Tomek i Kasia", it is a Polish version of Canadian series, intelligent and very funny, and built on dialogues, so I think it's good to listen to

Wow, I never knew Un gars, une fille had been adapted in Poland. I'll try to get my hands on it!
Following on that idea, I just found out the Quebecois series Le coeur a ses raisons (Grzeszni i Bogaci) had been
adapted in Poland too. It's a parody of soap
opera, and very stupid and absurd, if that's your cup of tea. Here's an example : http://www.youtube.com/watch?

I would also recommend Kieslowski's Dekalog films (10 episodes of this made for tv series), since it's a masterpiece
of contemporary cinema. Also you might be interested in the mini series Quo Vadis which isn't amazing but there's
plenty of talking in it.
