I'm a big fan of US shows such as The Colbert Report (with Stephen Colbert), The Daily Show (with Jon Stewart), anything with Conan O'Brien, etc. These types of shows walk the line between news reporting and humor, taking cover stories and making jokes about them, having guest interviews that are more entertaining than informational, etc. What I'm wondering is, are there TV shows such as these in other countries, done in other languages? Can anyone recommend any in, for example, German? If you can think of any in other languages, though, please post those as well! I think this would be a very fun way to learn and would love to start a list of humorous talk-shows.

In German ... maybe politisches Kabarett?
Volker Pispers - 5 Jahre vor Weltwirtschaftskrise
Volker Pispers - Spätrömische Dekadenz
Mitternachtsspitzen
Scheibenwischer
Neues aus der Anstalt
I have no idea if you'll like the kind of humour, but that's what I could think of at the top of my head.

In French:
-Les Guignols de l'info (it's a sort of puppets show)
-Le petit journal
There was as well a talk show with Laurant Ruquier but I forgot its name.
In general, I would say that humorous emissions are broadcast rather on radio than on TV, so if you are interessted in listening to the radio, I can provide you a longer list.

Thanks for the links, you guys! I can't wait to check them out. Sure, radio shows would be great too. I just get tired of watching/listening to the normal daily news reports...

In Germany, the best equivalent to the American late night talk shows is Harald Schmidt. Here an example. He works now for Sat.1.
Heute Show. It reminds me more of Jon Stewart. Rather boring, in my opinion. Here
And an Israeli comedy news show. The humor is more on the level of Heute Show (rather predictable), but they still take a niche with their topics.
