Can anyone recommend some movies in Hebrew with English subs?

I would wholeheartedly recommend everyone to watch Waltz with Bashir. It's one of the best movies I've seen in a couple of years. The synopsis seems a bit much. It's an animated documentary about war in Lebanon, but if it doesn't seem interesting to you, I'd recommend you watch it anyway. It's unique, engaging and powerful.
Lebanon was also an acclaimed movie from Israel, but I haven't seen it yet. Other Isreali movies I've heard about or have seen: Ajami My Father My Lord Eyes Wide Open Shiva or also called Seven Days Lemon Tree Jellyfish The Band's Visit 1 person has voted this message useful |
