I am sentence mining at the moment and came across the following site:
http://fleid.wordpress.com/2011/06/13/rattrapage-de-dilbert/
I was wondering how accurate is the french translation and should I use the sentence in
the comic strip box for the English translation?
Thanks

I's good french but not a litteral translation and for learning maybe a bit too far from the original (but it's subjective)

The more idiomatic and the shorter the text, the less likely it is that the translation will be close to the original. The translator took a lot of liberty with these strips, and that's probably why he writes "Traduction approximative".
If by sentence mining, you mean entering them into SRS, then I'd definitely NOT use these sentences.
