What would I do without that awesome website?
Hmm... What do I read on the internet, except HTLAL... Let me think...
I visit some Polish music forums, if someone's interested, i can send them by PW. Also couchsurfing websites, that can be somehow useful not only while looking for a host, but also with language learning. And sometimes (but lately not very often, unfortunately): vesti.bg , dnevnik.mk, aftonbladet.se, zarolaj.si (there you can also listen to Slovene music).
Somehow my plans of reading news from various countries still doesn't work ;/

Oh, and of course - lang-8!

Aside from the dubious legality of a lot of the material on the site, many of the scans
are of pretty poor quality, or parts are missing. But it's a pretty good site to
find out what's available for a language if you don't know what you're looking for.
Then once you find something of interest, it's much easier to look for an exact title
to legally purchase elsewhere.

Well, I guess this is not the place to explore whether they are legal are not but I'll
just quickly point out that many things that are perfectly moral (smoking weed, for
instance) are illegal and some that are highly immoral (e.g. selling arms)
are perfectly legal so that even if that were shown (and again I acknowledge
that this is not the place for that debate) that wouldn't necessarily constitute
a crticism in my eyes.

The guys on there put in such a lot of time and effort obtaining and scanning these
materials that I'm just in awe, to criticize scan quality would be incredibly
ungrateful on my part (speaking as one who has benefited a lot, I'm not implying you're
ungrateful). Besides, they're almost always usable.

Very true, but also great for those who simply can't afford materials, e.g. in poorer
countries.

Oh yeah! I keep meaning to start using that again. Thanks for the reminder.

I frequent many websites and I don't have much time right now, so I'll only mention a few here.

Wordreference's online dictionaries - The Italian one is especially helpful for me.
sanakirja.org - One of the better Finnish dictionaries online
fintwol - Morphological analyzer for Finnish very useful
Huffington Post - I can't just read about languages
YouTube - I listen to a lot of music here
Sverige Radio - Swedish radio
Yle - Finnish radio
Svenska Dagbladet - I do read other Swedish newspapers online but I visit this site most often.

Probably the only ones relevant to here would be:

DW, NDR, Schlaflos in München, dr.dk Copenhagencast
Wordreference, Leo.org dict.cc (dictionaries, but sometimes the forums)

Also Project Gutenberg / Librivox / gutenberg.spiegel.de

Most of the sites I visit have little to do with actual language learning. I mostly visit travel/culture and investing sites that give me insight into Chinese culture and the language.

Nanowrimo
CultureUnplugged
CNNGo
CNBC
Mergers & Inquisitions
Youtube
Historum
CCTV/CNTV
