I hadn't used Open Office for a number of years, but contemplating so doing in the near future, I thought I'd update the version installed on this box. When I did so, I noticed that there were quite a lot of optional extensions that one could also download.
These included dictionaries in a number of languages: I noticed German, Swedish, Norwegian and Russian, but there were others, and some other things that might be generally useful.

(It seems to have got itself branded as "Apache Open Office" these days, which was new to me, but it's still free and open-source (so don't let anyone try to charge you for it, as some unscrupulous people out there might try to to.)
