I have recorded a sample of me reading subtitles to the show "Community", trying my best to pronounce everything naturally and correctly. I watched the show some months ago, so I think how I read really came from myself and is not just an imitation of the show's actor. It would be greatly appreciated if you could point out weaknesses in my pronunciation to me. I hope I chose a sample where many of them are apparent (And sorry for the cheesy voice acting on my side, but I couldn't resist).
Also, can you tell what my native language is?

I hope the link works for everyone.

You speak pretty well and clearly, it's not like anyone would have difficulty understanding you, so I'll assume you are looking for some minor refinements. Here are some I heard:

- In "martial arts" your R's are a bit exaggerated (too much even for the American accent, I think).

- In "why do you teach Spanish", your 'do' and 'you' are almost rhyming. In native speech the /oo/ in 'do' is typically shorter (usually but not always, it depends on emphasis).

- "just like that" sounded a bit like "chust like that" - try to get a harder /dj/ sound.

I like your method for practising pronunciation.

You have good pronunciation, but need to work on stress and contractions.

E.g you say why do you speak Spanish? with equal weight to each word.
It should be: Why dyu speak Span ish? contracting the do and you and much more emphasis on the
first
syllable of Spanish.

They say it JUST like that.

It's a little difficult to judge you fully because the words don't make much sense altogether.

Ok thanks so far! I'll try to work on these parts and I'll look for a better sample to read.
