For a while I have been using The Economist's audio edition to improve my English. I buy a printed copy and use it along with the audio edition.
I am looking for something similar in Spanish and French. I know there are audiobooks and I could combine them with the printed book, but for practical reasons I would prefer shorter, "self-contained" articles to novels and other long texts. A 10-20-minute long article (or a couple of shorter articles) is enough for a day. I look up every unknown word and expression in the text and then listen to it during the day while pottering around.
