If you want an example of how unusual Arabic grammar can be, just look at this post. I know it's a far-fetched example, but a real one nevertheless.

It shouldn't be all that difficult. In any case, the ranking just provides a "ballpark". And it's very debatable.
I think it's more valuable to less informed people, like this acquaintance of mine, who said he couldn't live in Austria, because he doesn't speak Austrian. Then he added "not even German". So, he's not totally clueless (he knew German would be useful), but nevertheless ignorant.
N.B.: As I know how picky forum members can be, I must clarify that I'm 100% sure he was not referring to some dialect of German spoken in Austria. ;)
