I have used the ultimate Russian course and would recommend it. The recodings are clear and the actors have nice, clear diction. The grammar is explained in detail with lots of examples and the content of the dialogues is interesting and fairly authentic. My only criticism is there are too few written exercises to reinforce the new material. However all dialogues have an English translation and I would often translate this back into Russian for extra practice.

I haven't used the beginners course, but I did like the "Beyond the Basics" and "Ultimate French Advanced" courses. The dialogs are good and cover a lot of material.
The "Ultimate French" has plenty of cultural notes as well.
I actually preferred them to Assimil's "Using French" course, I think because they centered more on dialogs and less on the literary aspect of French. "Using French" course to me just felt out-dated somehow.

I have been using the Living Language courses ever since I started learning languages and I'm just more familiar with their programs and such. Is there much of a difference between the Basic-Intermediate courses and the Advanced? And how well does the Basic-Intermediate courses take you?

Here is another question that I have not found and have been wondering. Does anyone know if they will make anymore languages using the Ultimate Series method such as Persian or Korean?

I borrowed Ultimate Spanish Beginner-Intermediate Spanish from my library and am using it right now as a review and to go more in depth in grammar. It explains things simply enough for me and the dialog is about the right pace for me to understand everything.
The book breaks down things like question words and tells you pretty much everything about them from the getgo. Which is nice.
I'd go for it.
