Anyone know the story on this?:

Nope. It's the same thing. It probably also includes the review CDs.

It's the same course. They just removed Michel Thomas' picture from the cover.

The cover on Amazon says "Michael Thomas Method," which makes me wonder if it is a new recording. The original version is difficult to wade through because one student's errors make the course hard to follow. Thomas constantly corrects the same pronunciation problem over and over again.
