According to the inlay of 'Japanese With Ease' it says an 'Armenian With Ease' course was due to be published in 2007. having searched numerous sources it seems as though it's unavailable. Does anyone know if it was actually published? or If it is still in production. Having contacted Assimil directly I have yet to receive a response ( sent the question some three months ago).

I wrote to Assimil a number of months ago and asked about the English version of their Armenian course. The response was that it was delayed, and they didn't have a projected date for publication.

Well, I have the French version, I bought it about a year ago. I don't know about an English editon, but an Armenian Assimil does exist

Thanks for the info. I guess I'll crack on with Hippocrene's 'Beginner's Armenian' for the time being. Although the lack of audio will inhibit any real progress. It's probably a waiting game with the Assimil course.

Here's a Peace Corps course.
These tend to be quite basic but should be of some help getting to grips with the sounds, greetings etc. Especially since the Hippocrene book (though an excellent little book) doesn't really focus on conversation. 1 person has voted this message useful |
