First of all I would like to say that this forum is an incredible resource and I am incredibly grateful that it was recommended to me by a friend. After having read through many of the posts it is a pleasure to finally be writing one of my own!
I am currently building up a collection of materials for when I embark on my Arabic learning journey. I am planning on learning Egyptian Arabic as this is the country which interests me the most. I also plan on learning MSA. I currently have Pimsleur Egyptian Arabic and the Michel Thomas Arabic course (which I believe is Egyptian Arabic, please correct me if I am wrong). However after these two programs I am not sure where to go. The FSI program I have is for Levantine Arabic. Is there one available for Egyptian Arabic as well? This would make me extremely happy as I like the method used in FSI programs. Could anyone recommend a course that will take me to a high standard of Egyptian Arabic as well as a course that will teach MSA from a beginner to advanced level? Kullu Tamam! is probably the course to use following from Michel Thomas (which is Egyptian Arabic). After that you should move to Kallimni 'arabi which is an intermediate to advanced level course.
