It's nice for what it is: a small booklet packed with tons of example sentences and a pretty good coverage of the language. Unfortunately, all of the sentences are written in romaji, though, so you have to do extra work if you want kanji versions to make flash cards from or something.
It's also mostly pretty basic stuff, and some common important points are missing (I don't think the "-tta ga ii" construction is in it, for example), but if you want to quickly grasp the basic principles of the language, or you want a quick-and-easy companion to a more detailed book, it just might do the trick.
