How is this phrase best translated at the start of a sentence ?
E.g.
Resulta que voy a coger la moto hoy ...

Don't say this one in Latin America. ;) |

No, porque todos los retrasados del lugar pensarían que te vas a follar a la moto por el tubo de escape, mejor mientras todavía esté caliente, vamos, lo primero que se le ocurre a cualquiera. |

Jajaja... la verdad es que si, aqui ni siquiera se puede decir 'cojín' (cushion) sin que a alguien le de risilla.

I think everybody agrees on this, jaja, learn what te verb means in latin american slang and in spain but never use it (unless you and your significant other Spanish speaker are naked and you want to say something like "te voy a coger bien rico mami")

I was trying to avoid using it in Mexico, though it slipped out a few times anyway and I didn't get my head bitten off or any special embarrassment about it. I think most people are smart enough to understand that this word is just used differently in different parts.
However, when I got back to Spain I had to consciously start forcing myself to use it again, so I wouldn't sound strange there, haha.
