Hello, everybody!
I would like to ask if anybody is familiar with the Russian one-stem system (more about it in the following book: Fundamentals of Russian verbal conjugation for students and teachers By Thomas J. Garza; pages 1-23; available on Googlebooks). Has anyone learnt Russain using this approach? If so, I would have a particular question: how do you exactly form the infinitive from the stem? At first I would think that you only have to add "ть" to the stem. But what is the case with the verbs whose infinitive doesn't end with "ть"? Do you have to consider them as "irregular verbs"? If yes, do you form all the verbs whose infinitive ends in "ть" by adding "ть" to the stem (I mean, there are no irregularities at these verbs at all)?
