I know the sentence "Te lo dije antes" and I thought that TE was informal. But a translation program didn't turn the TE into LE when I choose the option formal.
Isn't this correct then? Te lo dije antes (informal) Le lo dije antes (formal) Te is informal and le formal, correct?? 1 person has voted this message useful | |||

Yes, but in your example, you should use "se" for the polite, i.e. Te lo dije antes = I told you earlier (informal) Se lo dije antes = I told you earlier (polite) 1 person has voted this message useful | |||
