I believe I read from earlier posts that these intensive basic courses at the Dunwoody Press of Cambodian, Thai, and Vietnamese were based upon older Defense Language Institute basic courses.
In the description of the Thai course..."A revision of the Defense Language Institute 1966 Text." But in the other language descriptions, there is nothing so specific.
Does anyone know how much revision has taken place? As much revision as Audio-Forum and Barron's does to the FSI material, or more on the level of what Don Casteel did with Platiquemos?

I'd also be interested in hearing from anyone who has used, or looked over the Dunwoody Cambodian course. I am working through Huffman's Modern Spoken Cambodian, and would like to know whether the Dunwoody course would add anything above the MSC, whether it has been updated, or is indeed worth the cost?
