Programmatic Spanish has a lot of exercises they don't
provide answers for. Here are a couple. Each of the following sentences has one and only one mistake. Rewrite the items correctly: Sí, señor. José piensa venderlo ayer. Mañana acaban de venderlo. I have a couple stabs: Sí, señor. José piensa venderlo mañana. Mañana van a venderlo. My second try has the problem of being two changes, so it's probably not what they were looking for. This type of exercise can be for anything, missing accents, verb agreement, noun/adjective agreement, punctuation, etc. 1 person has voted this message useful | |

"Sí, señor. José piensa venderlo ayer." could be as you said or "Sí, señor. José pensaba venderlo ayer."
"Mañana acaban de venderlo." could be as you said (the best option in my opinion) or it could also be "Hoy acaban de venderlo." 1 person has voted this message useful | |
