Learning about the use of object pronouns and i´ve come across something that felt a bit strange to me.
When there are two verbs in the one sentance you can attach both to the end of the infinitive verb. Example: Ella debe explicármelo. This I understand. But then I began putting together examples using Gustar. Which is the better way to say "I like to walk him (my dog) to the shops"? Me gusta andarle a las tiendas or Gusta andármelo a las tiendas. The second one feels strange to me, but it may just be because i´m not familiar with it. 1 person has voted this message useful | |||

I've had a second look at your post and missed something... First of all, andar doesn't have a transitive meaning for taking a dog for a walk - you can walk a road or path. You will probably want to use sacar or pasear me gusta pasearlo a las tiendas The me goes with gustar (it is pleasing to me) and the lo goes with pasear (to take him for a walk) - they are the objects of two different verbs in your sentence.
