I don't know why, but I really like Afrikaans. I heard it and immediately fell in love with the language.

I couldn´t tell it. I think every language has its own magic. I´m just amazed when I hear French. But I do the same with Spanish, Russian, Portuguese, Chinese etc. They´re different and I love the differently, but personally, to me all of them are beautiful. :-)
PS: I know, this is a HUGE cliché, so sorry, but this is the truth! :-P

I think a lot of languages sound beautiful but one that I can think of right now is Basque; I think it has a very unearthly feel to it, but maybe that's just me. I was watching a Spanish film once and there was a song featured; I thought it was the most beautiful thing ever. At first I thought it might be some sort of saeta but later I realized that it's probably Basque. The sound of Basque is the sole reason I want to learn it. Gaelic is another language I want to learn simply because it sounds so heavenly.
I think Spanish and Portuguese sound great too but I like speaking Spanish more than hearing it. Korean is another language that absolutely sounds delicious to me :P

Even though I speak mandarin and am chinese, I hate the sound of the language because it sounds atrocious next to english with its tones (I guess you could say the same thing about english compared to chinese, but english is my better language).
I feel that Spanish is too pointy since no letters are silent (other than h).
The only other language I hear is french, which sounds like a high-class language, although I am well aware that not all french people are rich. This is probably so because of its nasal sounds, "r" sound, and musical rhythm.

It doesn't sound that lovely to me. surely not awful, but i really can't understand what's so special about French. perhaps I've written that here already, sorry :) well, I have an excuse - since I wrote here last I've added Dutch to the list of languages that sound beautiful to me (also Finnish, English, German, Portuguese, Icelandic, Danish (and other Scandinavian ones too), Belarusian, Ukrainian, Japanese, Italian)

As Shakespeare says ‘Love is in the eyes of the beholder’, so it goes the same for the most beautifully spoken language to me. It is a subjective question so I give a subjective answer: the most beautiful spoken language is the language spoken by my beloved lady, no matter which specific language she uses.
