WARNING: This thread was started by Steve Kaufmann, publisher of lingq.com. While he discusses general ideas about language learning, the thread frequently refers to his program and website. Consider this a meet-the-publisher thread.<br>Administrator

I am not sure if this contravenes any rules here. I hope not.
I am posting here the URL's to download the various language versions of my book. I would be grateful to anyone who has the patience to read the book and pick out any spelling errors, grammar errors or areas of awkward language.

I have not included the English original. I would like to know if these versions make sense on their own. I could add the English version if that is of interest.

Zhuangzi, thank you for your links, I will look at them. Is it too late to pick any disagreement as to the content as opposed to mere proofreading?

Did you translate the books yourself?

If anyone is interested I am also posting the English version. Of course I am interested in comments and criticism as well although it is too late to change the book.

I did not translate the book into any of the other languages.

Steve,
First of all, thank you very much for letting us read your book. If you also plan to have your text translated into Italian, I'll be happy to proof read it.
And happy 60th birthday!

Hi Steve, happy 60th birthday! I would like to thank you for offering your
book here for free, I really appreciate it. I've read a good portion of it and
look forward to completing it sometime this week.

Do you have plans on providing other languages on The Linguist? English is
my native language ... I'm currently studying Portuguese and am interested
in Spanish, among many others, afterwards. If you offered Portuguese right
now, I'd most likely sign-up for your program immediately :)

We plan to offer many other languages starting in May or June of next year. We will start with European languages but will also offer non-European languages suing the same principles.

I hope one day to translate the book into Italian as well.I have no immediate plans to do so.
