I think that at this moment there is only one spelling in Dutch.

Yes, but it's changed a few years ago again ... (third time or so in quite a
short while)

'Het Groene Boekje' uses the new spelling. 'Het Witte Boekje' is against the new spelling
(it's too complicated according to them), so they keep supporting the old spelling.

I don't learn all these irregularities anymore.
Instead of making everything clearer and simpler, they only complicate it more.

Whenever I see the subject line of this thread I automatically think
"English - The Mostest Difficultest Language?"

This has pretty much been proven.

English has the most nightmarish spelling and pronunciation imaginable. Non Native
speakers, I'm impressed.
