Hi all.
I was wondering if any Korean learners/native speakers could help me translate the following nouns into Korean. I understand that there will not be an exact translation, but words of nearest meaning will do. I would like to see how the characters look for a tattoo. The words are:
Honesty
Courage
Humility
Endurance.
Thankyou in advance
G Head

Well, as you mentioned, it's quite challenging to find exact counterparts of them. But
I can make general suggestions for you.
정직 or 성실 for Honesty, 용기 for Courage, 겸손 for Humility and 인내 for Endurance.
There is subtle nuance that 정직 implies 'not to tell a lie' or 'not trying to deceive
others' while 성실 is close to the meaning of diligence or industry.

thankyou Julie.
Yes, I guessed there would not be an exact counterpart, but your response was all the same very useful. The characters look great, thankyou!
