I thought it might be useful to start, empezar, a thread in both English y español. The Diglot weave técnica could be beneficioso for those of us just beginning en español. Por favor, add your contribuciones, and help us beginners, principiantes, aprender más español.

Me gusta mucha this idea! Aqui in Florida la gente habla just like this sometimes anyway. Quiero tambien hacer esto con Italiano/Español. What is nice about this (acerca de este?), is that we can use vocabulario oscuro, and it should be easy to tell from the contexo what we mean, queremos decir. El uso que hago yo de esta técnica es muy sencillo. Cuando encuentro una palabra en inglés con la que tengo dificultad, busco una frase en español lo más sencilla y chocante posible e introduzco la palabra inglesa en lugar de la española. Dejo el resto en español.
He ayudado a un compañero británico usando esa misma técnica para aprender conjugaciones verbales en español y parece que le va bien. Por ejemplo: el verbo preferir. I prefiero bananas You prefieres potatoes He prefiere monkeys .... Yesterday you preferías potatoes Today you prefieres bananas But today I prefiero Cámeron Díaz... Si vas progresando, puedes usar frases que estén escritas totalmente en tu idioma objetivo. 1 person has voted this message useful | ||||||

Es una forma de mnemotecnia que yo uso cuando tengo problemas. La ventaja que tiene el ejercicio anterior es que puedes convertirlo en algo muy visual y estrambótico. Eso te permite que puedas recordar de memoria el significado de las frases y luego puedas practicar listas de verbos y vocabulario sin leerlos en un papel. Sólo hace falta un poco de entrenamiento. Un ejemplo que se me ocurre es con la palabra 'coartada' que significa 'alibi' en inglés. Puedes buscar frases en tu idioma nativo en un buscador como google y que tengan la palabra que quieres aprender . Acto seguido cambias la palabra de tu idioma al idioma diana: -An COARTADA notice is required where the defendant will offer evidence of being absent from the scene when the crime was committed -The "story" and the minutia must be challenged as one would challenge a criminal's COARTADA for his crime. ... Estos ejemplos los he encontrado sobre la marcha, pero normalmente me gustan frases cortas y chocantes. -The criminal's COARTADA was he was working with Spiderman.
