I really, really, REALLY need some books etc. to read in Indonesian. I learn so much better by reading and picking up on how words are actually used. I've been looking at Indonesian bibles, but I'm wondering if I should also read something more, I don't know, colloquial? Any advice would be greatly appreciated, as any Indonesian materials are hard to find in the U.S.
Tarima kasih!

Hi,
There are heaps of sites on the net which will help you in your quest to study Indonesian. Here's just one which has a lot of useful links,
http://users.skynet.be/dvran/bahasa.htm
In particular, check out the link to The Beggining Indonesian site> Its an amazing site for beginners.
Good luck

Have you tried the free course you can download of the Internet, http://www.learningindonesian.com/
It is an excellent course with a textbook you can download to follow the lessons.
I am currently using it.

Yeah, I'm pretty much just looking for books that have been translated into Indonesian,
but thanks anyway. And yes, I have used "Learning Indonesian", though not recently as I've already learned most of the material on my own.
Just out of curiosity, what lesson are you on Fanatic?
Thanks all ~jeigo
