study one mainly, and one to two other ones on the side. I see you are from china, can you understand what pai
mei sais in the movie Kill Bill 2?
Estudie uno principalmente, y uno a dos otras. 你什中國人嗎?
Studer hovedsakelig en, og en til to andre på siden. Jeg ser at du er fra kina, kan du forstå hva pai mei sier i filmen

hehehe :D
The third line was Norwegian ;) But if you compare the Norwegian to the English, you will see that the languages
are very simmilar, except that instead of puting THE in front, you hook on EN to the word
the word Side, as in, a car was on my right side
The side
Siden.
But enough about norwegian. Does pai mei speak some cantonese in the movie? And when Uma replies yes in
chinese, i thought that there was no word for yes, only to repeat the verb in the sentance?
Ni3 shuo1 zhong1 wen2 ma
reply
wo3 shuo1 or just shuo1

I don't remember what bai mei said.
and usually when we reply yes, it depends on situation.
for your example..
你说中文吗? ni3 shuo1 zhong1 wen2 ma?
I can reply:
en
wo3 shuo1 a/de
dui4 a
there're a lot of variations in Chinese, and mostly they all work.

Yeah, dui4 means correct right? pronounced dway?
But i was a bit dissapointed that i didn't understand more of what Pai Mei said :) But it sure was funny to read the
subtitles.
Do the chinese have a strained relationship with the japanese?

I am not sure which part of the relationship you mean, but let's not involve any other topic besides language.
