Can anyone living or who has been in China in the past few months tell me anything about what books they carry over there? Particularly Shenzhen and Guangzhou.
I've heard that cheap copies of Japanese books can be purchased there and I definitely want to keep an eye out for those when I visit in December, but is anything available for other languages? Tibetan, Mongolian, Korean? I'm interested in both grammars and texts.
delectric, maybe you could answer?

For "regional" languages (Tibetan, Mongolian), the books are usually sold in academic publishing houses in Beijing or Lhasa or Chengdu or anywhere else, so a better bet would be contacting them directly.
