I'm intending to begin studies on conversational Korean soon and today I stumbled across Rapid Korean. I was just wondering whether anyone had any experience in using it, for the site seemingly promises a lot of success for such a hard language in 60 days.
Your thoughts?

It says "Start speaking Korean in 60 days or your money back". Well, that is easy! It's a crafty statement. It gives no indication as to level.
I can speak some Korean - 1 to 10 - from my days of Tae-Kwon-Do, so that fits their criteria, and therefore, would get no money back!
I doubt that you will be fluent in 60 days, unless it is a Michel Thomas course!

The Rapid Korean course is actually the FSI course. You can get the second half for free from http://fsi-language-courses.com
The advertised price of $39.99 is quite good. FSI courses usually cost quite a lot more commercially. It is one of the best courses for learning Korean. You certainly won't be speaking fluent Korean in 60 days but you should be on the way.

It worked for me too, but I'm a little weary. How come you can get it free?

The FSI language courses were produced by the U.S. Department of State. Many of these old programs have been
released into the public domain (as they were paid for by tax payers). Some of the programs include copyrighted
material and cannot be thusly released. Many of them are considered to be quite effective (if mind numbingly
boring).
you can see a large number of them available at the website
here
