Yeah, I used to think I was saying everything basically right...until I was told that I couldn't say anything right really haha. I think they are all quite easy to pronounce at the end of words, but not when they are followed by other letters -_- ль in the middle of a word practically always just turns into л for me. HUNGARIAN Hmm, well, a slight slowing down in Assimil here. The AW is hard! I've done lesson 55, but I'll review it some more before moving on (it was boooring though), as well as 8 and 30/31 (I think 30 was a review lesson). I've also written another short mail. Oddly enough, I have the impression that learning Hungarian words is getting easier and easier, whereas Russian words only get harder... ANKI: 1577 RUSSIAN I've been recording some stuff for one of the new Russians in the IRC channel (all of a sudden the channel exploded and now it's full of people) and getting some feedback. Another Russian from the channel is providing me with Russian documentaries on history, and I saw the first part, on Peter the Great, today :) ANKI: 3056 NORWEGIAN I'm at page 164 of the book and it's quite unpleasant now since it's all misery :| FRENCH I wrote a lang-8 post. 1 person has voted this message useful | |||

HUNGARIAN
I went through the review lesson 56 and tried to learn the words by kind of word listing them. They were the verbforms that result from adding the infixes -at/-et, -tat/-tet (productive) and -hat/-het (possibility). I don't feel like flooding Anki since I have quite some reps there already, so I'm going to try to learn some words for both Russian and Hungarian outside it. Also AW lesson 9 and repeated 32. I truly, truly suck at AW. The only phrases I'll ever get right are those I memorized with Anki. So there, Assimil. RUSSIAN At work today (yes, started working 3 hours/day) I am going to try to wordlist a ton of words from Master & Margarita. I have them on post-its at the moment. I watched the second part of Российская Империя. I hope I'll watch a third today. However, I'm a bit behind on my history class reading, I've got two chapters at least to read and one to review, plus I need to read a couple of speeches and stuff (on Palestine and Iran) that over enthusiastic people posted on the course forum. Tiiiime. NORWEGIAN I'm at page 184 of the book and it's improved a bit on the misery part. I know I'm very impractical choosing a Norwegian book to improve ny Norwegian and getting one that's too old so the spelling is a mix between Swedish and Danish. Ce dernier temps je n'ai pas pu écrire à cause de mes mains, donc pour un certain temps tout ici sera en français. Il y aura sûrement des erreurs bizarres dans ce texte, c'est parce que je dicte et j'ai trop la flemme pour relire et corriger tout le temps
Hongrois : j'ai fait très peu Assimil. J'évite d'écrire quoi que ce soit, et en plus Assimil ne me tente pas trop en ce moment. Je fais Assimil 10, c'est tout. Par contre, j'ai commencé à lire ! Je ne fais pas de véritable LR, j'utilise tout simplement le texte parallèle et je le lis très lentement. Après, j'écoute l'audio. Ce super intéressant, j'ai finalement l'impression de lire quelque chose de vrai, je vois la grammaire « vivante » et je peux l'analyser. Jusqu'ici je n'ai lu que sept pages, c'est donc un procès très lent, mais je m'amuse. Je souligne tous les mots qui m'intéressent ou que je comprends, un peu comme faisait Lomb. Russe : encore une fois je ne fais que lire et écouter. J'essaye d'apprendre le mot en faisant des listes, je l'ai fait pour peut-etre 65 mots. Mais ... Ce n'est pas non plus idéal pour mes mains, donc il faut que j'arrete. Je vais essayer de les apprendre uniquement en les prononçant. Un Russe de la Latvie a voulu parler avec moi sur Skype, mais nous n'avons pas réussi, il m'entendait bien mais je ne l'ai pas entendu. Donc, nous nous envoyons des messages en audio ! C'est plutôt marrant, et ça me donne l'opportunité de parler un peu de russes chaque jour. Il apprend le Suédois et son russe est excellent, je comprends chaque mot ! Norvégien : j'ai fini mon livre, 231 pages en tout. Le livre m'a beaucoup plu et je vais bientôt commencer à lire un deuxième, mais pour le moment je dois lire un peu pour mon cours d'histoire donc je vais attendre un peu avec le Norvégien. J'aime la lecture de ton journal en français, et c'est une bonne habitude pour moi aussi. Mais, "marrant", ce qui signifie ?

Oh ! Si quelqu'un qui étudie le français lit mon journal, il faut bien que je fasse un effort pour vérifier l'orthographe :-) « marrant » c'est un peu comme « drôle », mais c'est familier.

Comme DaraghM, j'aime bien lire ton journal en français. Je m'intéresse par deux (ou trois, si on peut compter français) que tu étudies; le russe et le norvégien. J'apprends le norvégien moi-même et j'ai toujours eu l'envie d'apprendre le russe, mais je ne sais pas par où commencer, et la grammaire me fait un peu peur.

Il ne faut pas avoir peur du russe, la grammaire et certainement plus compliquée que pour beaucoup d'autres langues, mais la langue est aussi beaucoup plus intéressante et au bout d'un moment, la grammaire devient normale et tu ne comprends pas comment la langue pourrait fonctionner sans elle. :-)
____ Je n'ai pas pu énormément étudier ces derniers jours ; il a fallu faire d'autres choses, rencontrer des gens, faire du shopping, etc. Horrible quoi ! Pour la plupart, j'ai lu, donc ici il paraît que je ne fais rien. Parce que je ne peux pas ajouter de nouveaux mots à Anki, j'ai plus ou moins arrêté Assimil pour le moment. J'ai fait encore un leçon de AW, leçon 11, ainsi que leçon 33. Mais maintenant c'est fini pour... Peut-être deux semaines. Hier, j'ai découvert que le site Magyaróra a des articles faciles, ainsi que d'autres textes, et j'ai donc commencé à travailler avec eux. C'est intéressant ! J'ai continué à lire Jane Eyre et à écouter l'audio, jusqu'à la page 11 ou quelque chose comme ça. Je pense que je travaillerai avec les articles quand je serai au travail ; je vais travailler six heures par jour pendant deux semaines et donc j'aurai le temps et pour le russe, et pour le hongrois. Hier, j'ai « fait » deux articles faciles. J'écoute aussi de la radio hongroise presque chaque jour. Hier, ils parlaient d'enfants et j'ai compris presque un mot sur deux, c'était drôle. De toute façon, je n'ai pas compris le sens ! :-) Ce qui est génial avec le hongrois, c'est que quand j'ai appris un mot, je le comprends sans faute la première fois que je l'entends. C'est tout autre chose avec le russe... Pour le français, j'ai « écrit » sur le blog et j'ai aussi « écrit » une lettre. Heureusement, mes correspondants les plus importants comprennent le français :-) J'ai aussi enregistré une lettre en russe d'environ quatre minutes. 1 person has voted this message useful |
