Hiya everyone
I am sure that there will be quite a few people asking the same question as above, due to the masses of new logs due to the up and coming Total Annihilation Challenge 2009.
I would also like the answer.
So, to the various people who have expereince doing TAC logs (or just general logs or blogs) and writers etc.
How can we write an intresting TAC log?

I don't think we should impose any standards but it IS more fun to read an interesting log than a boring one.
No one wants to read "spent X many hours doing Assimil, X many hours watching TV.." ,etc. and it's certainly no fun writing it.
I personally like to interject what I do during the day. I can say that my life is NOT boring. I'm a mom of three (one a toddler), I have a part-time job, we're trying to move this next year and I REALLY, really want to keep up with my devoted studies. I don't take classes so I only have my passion and self-discipline to make it work. That's my challenge.
So I guess what makes a log interesting is to talk about your life a bit. Not just "I went to the gym while listening to Pimsleur", but maybe there's something interesting that happened that people want to read about.
It also helps to invite comments into your log. That helps keep it interesting.
What do you think, TEL?

Hi TEL and Sunja,
I decided to take part in the TAC 2009 Challenge with my Turkish language activities so everyone is invited to read my TAC 2009 Turkish only log and to give me helpful comments not only on the Turkish language but also on my learning techniques and experiences. Thank you for pointing out what makes a learning log interesting for other readers. I will focus on dealing with the different aspects of my learning process in my log. So my log is not only interesting for people who speak of study Turkish, but of course, also "study collegues" or native speakers of my target language are welcome!

I look forward to reading your log, Fasulye!
It's almost too bad we have to wait a month (for the kick-off). Everybody seems to be really psyched about it. I know I am ;)

It's a win-win game: Those people visiting my TAC 2009 Turkish log and giving me helpful comments get the chance that I visit their TAC 2009 logs as well giving helpful comments.
I have been studying Turkish anyway, so I feel free to start my log right now.

To answer the opposite question, if there is one thing that makes me stop reading a log, it is excuses why the person isn't getting enough studying done. I try to avoid the same in my own log.
