It isn't a lie. British people are very lazy with languages, as are most English speakers. Our schools' language teaching is very poor compared to most European nations and the general opinion on British streets is that English is the only language worth knowing 1 person has voted this message useful | ||||||||||||

Yes, please don't take it too seriously. In the end, Google indexes everything that's on the web regardless of its validity and source. This just reveals the general stereotype.
I imagine the results would be quite different as this would reveal the level of self-criticism of a given nation. There is another issue, though. The results for English speaking countries are actually more of a mixture between the opinion of others and a self-assigned image. It's more difficult to separate the two in this case (enthusiastic souls might want to check this in e.g. Spanish or any other major language.)
