I would love to see a list of good chat rooms and forums for Spanish if anyone know of any. Other languages
too, of course.

You can find thousands of Spanish forums here:

http://es.groups.yahoo.com/

You only need to choose a topic you like.

Sorry for the late reply, I was away for a while.

Ok, for forums and chat rooms, I will list some of the ones I use now.

http://www.sharedtalk.com/

Sharedtalk is a good chat room where you could practice many languages. They have people from all over the world here. It's very useful for language practice.

http://lang-8.com/
Lang-8 is good for making journals and getting them corrected by native speakers. It's a fun place where you can make friends as well.

As far as other chat rooms, I use yahoo messanger, Paltalk and some other chat rooms depending on which language I'm studying. For most of the languages, you could just go to google in type in something like 'Spanish chat' you should then get something to pop up. The same thing with forums-just type in whatever language you're studying by putting in 'Hmong forums' or something like that. Make sure the forums are active daily and have many people there.Do not join dead forums.

So what do you guys think about this progress report thing I talked about before?

Yes, I do all, but I rarely used Skype until recently.

Thanks. Do you typically type to people in real-time as part of the learning process, or do you email them, or
do you simply use the computer microphone or Skype to voice chat?
